Morgan Frechie D.O.,

Morgan Frechie, D.O., is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma, cataract and complex anterior segment surgery. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Delaware, where she was a research scholar studying inflammatory breast cancer. She then earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she received the Silver Touch Award and served as Community Chair for the Nutrition in Medicine program.

Dr. Frechie’s postgraduate training includes a General Surgery internship and an Ophthalmology residency at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Michigan, where she gained proficiency in managing Level I trauma cases and co-managed patients with advanced ocular diseases. She then pursued a Glaucoma Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI, gaining expertise in advanced glaucoma and cataract surgeries, including minimally invasive glaucoma procedures and complex anterior segment techniques.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Frechie has published research on dislocated intraocular lenses and presented at national conferences, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Meeting. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society, and Women in Ophthalmology.

When Dr. Frechie isn’t with her patients, she enjoys playing tennis and Border Terriers.
