Maha H. Jabbar, O.D.

Maha H. Jabbar, O.D., is a comprehensive optometrist specializing in medical optometry, dry eye management, and pre- and postoperative management of cataract and corneal procedures.

Dr. Jabbar earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, after completing a Bachelor of Science in psychology at the University of Louisville. During her clinical training, she completed externships at leading ophthalmology practices, including Clayton Eye Center in Georgia and Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers in Kentucky, where she gained extensive experience managing glaucoma, retinal disease, cataracts and other complex ocular conditions.

Prior to joining her current practice, Dr. Jabbar served as a staff optometrist at Erdey Searcy Eye Group in Columbus Ohio. She provided pre- and postoperative care for cataract and corneal transplant patients, customized treatments using the RxSight Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) and managed dry eye disease through advanced therapeutic options, including prescription medications, punctal plugs and amniotic membranes. She also worked closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to address systemic conditions affecting eye health, including diabetes, hypertension and autoimmune diseases.

Dr. Jabbar is committed to providing personalized, patient-centered care and helping patients achieve their best possible vision through comprehensive eye exams, disease management and innovative treatment options. She values educating patients about their eye health and building lasting relationships based on trust and communication.

Outside of the office, Dr. Jabbar enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, and long walks on the beach.
