Amber White, O.D.
Dr. Amber White is an optometrist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered eye care with a focus on ocular disease including diabetic eye exams, glaucoma management, retinal disease co-management, dry eye treatments and urgent eye care. She is committed to delivering comprehensive eye examinations and utilizing advanced diagnostic technologies to help patients maintain long-term visual health.
Dr. White earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry after completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Health and Society at Rutgers University. She completed her ocular disease residency at the Battle Creek Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she gained advanced experience diagnosing and managing a broad range of complex ocular pathologies and coordinating care with ophthalmology and low vision specialists.
Throughout her clinical training, Dr. White completed externships at Marietta Eye Clinic, Illinois Eye Institute, Eyecare Pro P.C. and the VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System. These experiences provided exposure to multiple subspecialties and a wide spectrum of ocular conditions, including glaucoma, cornea, retina, pediatric eye care, neuro-optometry, urgent care, low vision, refractive surgery and specialty contact lens care.
Known for her outgoing personality and attention to detail, Dr. White is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, informed and confident in their care while providing high-quality, personalized vision services. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading novels, dining out and exploring new places.
